Replaced my wife's bmw x3 brake pads and they are much louder under braking now can I assume just buying another set of aftermarket, low dust, quiet pad would work? I have considered just buying the bmw replacement pads but they produce a bunch of brake dust and I wanted a brake pad that produces less dust. Note the pads I put on the front I can't remember the brand but they were considered premium pads and I don't want to just keep replacing front pads at $50-75 a pop until I find quiet ones. Any suggestion on good brand for a bmw? I also suspect the pads I have on there would be fine on other cars but bmws you have more road noise so they seem louder when in fact for most cars they would be acceptable.
