horses and acceleration? Is it possible to get it from its 230hp to 300hp(like the 135i) without installing a super or turbo charger?

That's a tough one. I don't read much about making the 128 faster. As with any other BMW, it's usually always easier, faster and cheaper just to buy the next model upgrade. As you said though, it was a grad present (NICE present BTW!!) so I get where you're coming from.

IMHO, just make it as fast as you can and get as close as you can to the 135. I got my old '95 325 about 20 hp shy of what the E36 M3 was for that era and that felt pretty cool racing one of those and being almost neck and neck!

Learn to drive properly and you'll be faster than every other guy driving a 135i.
Have fun with that present, you'll wrap it around a pole if you aren't smart.

You'll need to start with an Intake, Header, Exhaust.. then move on to the engines internals, and the camshaft.

I doubt you'll hit 300 without a super/turbo.
