Hi, i have just brought a BMW X5, With Sat Nav/TV/DVD etc.... The TV doesnt work when i drive it reads -( for your safety TV is diabbled when car is been driven) or something along those lines! anyone no how i can turn this off so my partner can watch TV and i can get some peace and quiet!

go to an audio store and tell tehm you want the safty of some do it some dont

You need the software reprogrammed to allow you to view while driving and it can definately be done.You need a decent auto electrician with the suitabale equipment,ie;Launch x431 scanner.
Have a ring around through the yellow pages under auto electrics or car audio.
Its not recommended to bypass this feature though and amy be illegal in some countries.

If you get pulled over you could be in reaaaal trouble
