mode.? does anyone know how to fix this problem....? fuses were checked already as well as the cds i have in there...i even tried cleaning all the cds i have in the magazine case to insure that they are not just dirty...nothing worked.

happens to me all the time in different cars with the cd magazines.
a stereo specialist told me to vacuum clean the entrance of the cd box, use the cleaning cd, clean the magazine and check the cds also. it also rejects home made cds more than original ones, but Sony cds are the best. also once you insert the 6 cds, shake the magazine a bit before you push the magazine in with the car running and radio turned on. wait until it is loading the 6 cds. also use as much as possible that seems to make the mechanism work better.

I have inspected several BMW and some have had a similar problem, If the car is under warranty return for a warranty repair, you may have some electrical issues there causing the need for repair. Good Luck and God Bless
