Economy is bad I should buy American but I already have a BMW and I love the handling, so now I'm thinking of purchasing the BMW X6 suv. But part of me wants to be patriotic and buy American and A hybrid. Should I buy what I want or buy what I should?
My co-worker said I was Anti American to buy imports during this time.

I would get the Yukon simply because they are built more like a truck than any BMW suv and thus will tend to last longer, but stay away from the hybrid. It won't save much fuel as the hybrid system in GM's SUV's is very mild and it will never pay for itself and will cause more environmental damage from the toxic batteries that the fuel saved will ever prevent. If you want to be green and buy a hybrid that actually makes sense, get a honda insight or maybe a ford fusion hybrid.

go with your gut, x6 is a way better suv.
