I'm deciding between a BMW 650i Convertible and a Mercedes-Benz SL500 Convertible. Both are black and have sick rims/tires as well as comparable options. I'm wondering which would be the better car to get in terms of shock value, looks, speed, and overall performance. I'm just coming off a CLK 320 and I loved it, but I'm looking to upgrade. I like to show it off, so that plays a huge role in my decision.

I would choose the BMW 650iC because it's looks are great, it has been on the market for less time (The Mercedes will look older quicker) and the BMW is a little more reliable than the Mercedes-Benz.
