Is there any common problem on Jaguar S type or BMW X 3 V6?

I've been thinking about buying one of those but I'm not sure because never had either one of these kind of vehicles. I've always had Japanese cars.

if you buy a bmw X3 then you WILL be giving out the impression that you cant afford an X5
Buy the Jag
Avoid the X3 at all costs its no good off road and no where near as good as the jag on road
if you can afford it then get the x5
