I am willing to buy a relatively reliable, automatic, daily driver and I narriwed chioces down to 2004 acura rsx and 2000 BMW 323ci. They cost the same, just wanted hear your views on this
I am a single guy, and I kind of thought that an automatic RSX might be a little bit more girly(I enjoy manual transmission however I want the comfort of automatic) Also even though Acura is a cool brand do you think driving a BMW would be a little bit cooler?

the bmw

the bmw is better looking, safer, more luxurious, faster, more of a status symbol, and CHEAPER to insure.

the acura is very expensive to insure, because its one of the top ten most expensive cars to insure in america. (google it and you will find out)

Yes the BMW will be a little "cooler" , but the acura is 4 years newer and it's an acura , very reliable some what sporty cars.
The BMW will cost more to maintain , there is no secret about that and being 7 years old , you will start needing to replace suspension parts which start getting pretty expensive.
I personally think it is worth it if you have the extra money and can do some of the work yourself .

OWNER - 2000 BMW 323ci convertible

My 323ci has both (steptronic) manual or automatic shifting. I have owned my car for 8 years, and it still runs good as new.

I would never go for an Acura (bleh).

BMW has longer periods before a tune up
ACURA RSX Shorter time between tune ups

Honda engines power Acura so it will have to be based upon
if you want to be seen in a BMW and That GIRL WANTSTA ride or being tuneable and COOL on a budge
The aftermarket parts and wheels favors ACURA more in price than a BMW. check it 4 your self.

Both are nice cars if your not on a budget than BMW with no 2nd thoughts
but they are still only as fun to drive and customize as the cost and labor of fixing it up.

ACURAs are more tuneable but now everyone else has one >>young drivers<<.

so the choice is yours
