how much does an oil changes cost for a bmw 525i in Los Angeles? And what kind of oil is used?

bout 25 dollars, all you need is some wrenches, and a new oil filter. also i recommend castrol, never fails me. easy fix.

walmart to firestone to sears?(if still around).
i skip them lube places.
heard to many bad things..off and on.
so pick your favorite store..or go back to BMW..dealer..and change there.
have your car check out for any recall(free services too..while ya there).
next time..ask around by freinds..family..co=workers..and get as many wisdom..locally..and go from there.

they are like $5 a bottle..vs the $2-3 per bottle.
5w20 or 5W30 it varies..by manufactor.
30 is find for warmer weather.
5W20 burn up..when it HOT.outside.
now fall /winter is coming..you may??
need the lighter oil..for quick start of cold morning.
when summer is here..use 5w30..it can handle the 90-100 degree of heat..better.
