i purchaed a 2000 528i and i'm wondering what would be the best first modification. it only has 64k miles and i wanted to start with brakes, found some slotted rotors for $139 all the way around.
my main concern is going to be safety. i want to make sure it lasts me the next two years. i am good at maintaining my vehicles and i know it all starts there. this is my first beemer. its a manual and the dealer i'm buying it from is replacing a intake gasket thats seeping. i say brakes bec the pads need changing.i think a class would be awesome!

Either some rims or a muffler. Either or will look good. I'm thinking about buying a BMW 528i, but insurance down in NZ is expensive.

maybe a wider rear view mirror? :)
