I just purchased a used 2005 BMW X3.
I have been unable to pair my cell phone with the bluetooth. I have been reading that not all phones are compatible. Does anyone know of a phone that is not outrageously expensive that is compatible.
Also in the user manual it talks of a passcode or passkey something like that. Anyway that information is missing. Does anyone know where I might call or write to obtain a missing passcode for my vehicle. ???? Thanks!!

The passkey is a four-digit number preceded by PK: on the sticker on the TCU. The TCU is a metal box behind the removable panel at the left rear of the cargo area (the "C pillar"). (All directions from the driver's point of view.)
