I must have gone through hundred postings on troubles with these codes. Here are the facts:

1. I do have the SN for the CD player;
2. I do have the security code, from two different dealerships;
3. My setting is "US Area" not Europe;
4. I did leave the car running for an hour to clear the "Code Wait";
5. The dealership I went to said they did not know what to do any more, the code should work;
and finally:
5. My radio does not accept the code that seems to be the correct code.

Any idea?

Aren't BMWs awsome. The dealer should flash/reprogram the radio. Don't they know what they're doin over there?
