What would it take to get one of these in the states? I'm sure it would have to go through some sort of emissions testing, but would probably pass, right? I'm thinking this would make a very cool veggie oil car.

Yeah, I guess you could get it done, but it will cost you a load of money. You'll be better off just waiting, if I remember correctly they are suppose be introducing diesel 1 series in 09 models which will probably be here at the end of 2008. So yeah, it's a wait, but it will save you a lot of money.
