Its a little big for us. Well a lot big. I haven't driven one yet, but I'm sure it is fine behind the wheel. A 4894 lbs empty weight is going to hurt handling and fuel economy. EPA for the X6 xDrive35i is only 15/20. The xDrive50i is a dismal 13/18.

We like the 128i convertible and the Z4.

We own a 2007 X3. Our X3 is almost 900 lbs lighter than an X6. Even the X3 is on the big side. We use our X3 to transport our Great Danes, for Home Depot runs, or when we need AWD. We don't use it as a daily driver though.

Most days our X3 sits in the driveway and we drive our Miata.

I think alot of BMWs are nice.....until you need maintenance on them. They cost a bloody fortune to fix and maintain

I think it's a car for posers, with more money than sense.

Answer to a question no one asked.

But douchebags will buy them up because they want to INTIMIDATE WITH STYLE.

Newsflash: If you drive a BMW X-anything, you look like an asshole. You look like a trendwhore and a brandwhore.

Buy a real goddamn BMW. And hang up and drive.

Like the Porsche Cayenne, it costs so much you wouldn't dare take it off road and risk damaging it. Which sort of defeats the object, doesn't it?

What with rising fuel prices and road tax, it's for a very small, rich, niche market I think.
