This is serious! Please don't tar me with the BMW drivers don't use indicatars brush! I promise I do!

Its happened 2 times in the last month. When I have moved the indicatar stick up/down/forwards/back nothing has happened on actual lights, or on dash display as if maybe there is a wire loose or something? Its applies to indicatars and full beam (side/head lights operate from different switch)

It has corrected itself both times by the end of the journey, but obviously is quite worrying at the time. Luckily it has been during daytime, and not on a motorway/busy road.

Has anyone else had this fault/know what it is?

Rang BMW, but they said they can't take it in while it isn't faulting, so I have to wait for it to do it again.

it seem you have loose connection check connection good luck

loose/faulty wiring, intermittant failure of switch not contacting correctly, they should be able to test contacts to see if there is a fault.
