Hey so just wondering, how fast can a BMW M6 Cabriolet go with and without the speed limiter? And, is it fast enough that lets say if you were to race someone or if you were a killer, would this car be good? [No I'm not doing anything illegal..I'm just learning about cars and getting information just in case if I need it when I wanna write about it or when discussing it with other people [like usually people talk about how fast or good looking it is and then they would chat about whether it'd be cool to use that car in a killing/racing movie or not]

You might be able to squeeze 4.4 seconds out of the M6, however, BMW estimates a 0-60 time of 4.6 seconds. The car is governed to 155 mph, and the governed speed cannot be changed without voiding the warranty.

The now M6 is a pretty impressive car with it's 500hp V10, but it isn't impressively fast per se. They only go 0-60 in 4.1 seconds, and 12.4 in the quarter mile. That might sound quick, but there are a lot of modified and CHEAPER cars that are FAR quicker. In top speed it's supposed to be able to break 200 without the limiter, but it would take FOREVER to get there....it would need an 8 mile straight probably..lol. As for being a good movie car? I'd see it as a getaway car for the bad guys, while James Bond chases them in his Aston Martin...Hope this helps!
