im getting my g2 soon and my father as being the only child because my sister married and moved out says i can get a luxury car. he thought of buying me a new pontiac solstice but i wanted a used porsche boxster. budget is 35-40k canadian maxxx. i cant push any furtehr thats bottom line. after looking at cars in canada it seems that for 35-40 u can get only a 2003-04 model of a porsche boxster. but teh boxsetr in my mind looks so much better after 2005. and i kinda think it is more for women but ofcourse u cant make fun of a teen driving a boxster. the z4 i dont like how the front is so large and back is nothing but when isat inside it the car seems so large because of the large hood and if u dount look back and see ur trunk kinda looks chopped off its a nice car. it seems to be cheaper than the porsche performance u tell me which has better speed handling and more bang for the buck.

please tell me what you think honestly of the two cars.
id appreciate if people kept tehmselves emotionaly out of my life everytime i ask this question some moron makes a smart remark about my age my spelling and my life. if you can keep that out it be great thank you.

my brother has a z4 and its only prolly the worst beamer ever made. he had a cadillac cts before that and has been beggin the guy that he sold it to, to buy it back. the z4 has been in the shop prolly about 8 times this year with problems that shouldnt occur for another 5 years, and it was brand new wen he bought it. z4 is def a nice car but it will more than likely fall apart on u, besides u will look alot better in the porsche, u get no looks in z4 =D

Out of the two I'd get the Boxter. I'd take a look at the Saturn Sky also. It looks better than both of them IMO.

As far as performance goes it depends on which one you get. The Boxter S is quite fast, but so is the 3.0 Z4. If this is your first car I would HIGHLY recommend you NOT get one of these. There is a very good chance you'll end up killing ourself if you don't know what you're doing in them.

As far as the Boxster not being a Porsche I don't know what's up with that. It handles better than the vast majority of cars out there and it's mid engined. The only thing that is "bad" about it is that the non-S is rather slow.
