should I wait for Honda's new diesel? I've been wanting to lease/buy a 3series.
But after reading "Rich dad Poor dad", I kind of want to save my money. I also did some research on Accord and they are coming out with a diesel Accord in 2009, but that's too long of a wait.
That's why I was thinking about leasing.

I'm on my third Toyota Camry and it's the only car I'd buy. I had 400,000 miles on my last one and traded it in just because I wanted a new one. I traveled for my work and thought my old one looked ratty but it drove just fine. I'd had to put on new tires, brake job and windshield wipers so I got my money out of it and the first one I had was the same. I'm now driving a 97 w/97,000 miles since I retired and not driving as much. Before the 3 Toys I had a Honda Accord and it was a lemon. It shelled 9 transmissions in the first year. The company kept putting new ones in but wouldn't take the car back. Since I was getting to the end of the warrenty period, I traded it in on my first Toyota and never looked back. My late husband had a diesel pickup and I'd never buy one. It made a lot of noise and it smelled bad. I deserve better than that! I don't know anyone who regrets buying a Toy and I don't think you will either. Good Luck and God Bless

get the accord 5 speed. honda has the best reliability, if not tied with toyota at a cheaper price.
the prius transmission is a new kind called cvt. they dont have all the bugs worked out and they cost a lot to fix. like more than 5 grand the dealer will soak you for.
the bmws have a reputations for being no more reliable than the average american slop-mobile.
the manual transmission accord is least likely to give you any problems, and ive been in them and they are HUGE and COMFY.
toyota has been having a rough time in the last few years with quality too. they cant get enough japanese guys to come over here and crack the whip so the lackies make a poorer car lately.
Be good to your honda and youll never need another car
oh, and even for a larger car, the v6 accord is great on gas.

Get a prius and save your $ along with the planet. We need to save our planet from mindless gas consumption.
